FAQ
What is Giving Day
Southeastern University’s Giving Day is all about the Fire Family coming together as a community: students, alumni, faculty, staff, friends, and partners to collectively support and advance the mission of SEU. It is a 35-hour online giving campaign, in celebration of the school’s founding in 1935, that supports programs, departments, and initiatives across the University.
Why should I participate in Giving Day?
Your gift to Southeastern University on our Day of Giving is special because, thanks to generous supporters who provide challenges and matching funds, your gift can have an even greater impact on the areas of SEU that mean the most to you. When everyone comes together to celebrate the Day of Giving, we can maximize the funds to support our students, colleges, and campus initiatives.
Whether you participate as an Ambassador to rally your friends and family, or by making a gift to your favorite part of SEU, your participation and support will impact the student experience at SEU and ensure that generations of students have access to exceptional education to discover their divine design.
What should I give to?
You can give to any area of the university that means the most to you. We encourage students, alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and friends to give wherever they’d like to make an impact. Whether you support academics, athletics, student life, scholarships, or one of the other funds, your gift will fund the initiative you care about most.
If you’re wondering where the greatest needs are, we’d love to point you towards the General Student Scholarship Fund. This fund helps provide financial aid to students who might not otherwise be able to afford a university education. Contributing to this fund can make a direct impact on student's lives by easing their financial burdens and opening up educational opportunities.
